This is a beautiful art deco style gown, straight from one of Gatsby's parties! The dress features a form-fitting white silk underlay with a silver beaded chiffon overlay, with 1-inch straps and a v-neck and v-back. The beading pattern is a very unique floral-esq arrangement with geometric accents, and is mirrored on both the front and back of the dress. All the beads are either silver seed beads or silver tube beads, and there is no area of the dress left unbeaded. The chiffon overlay is fitted to the hips and then flares out, perfect for twirling. I bought this dress online on impulse while I was out of the country because I adored the style, but upon receiving it the bust was too tight (I wear a 32DDD - should be fine for anyone with smaller measurements) and could not be altered due to the intricate beading. The dress could not be returned because of the time that had elapsed since I originally ordered it while I was traveling abroad. It has never been worn and is in perfect condition, however the tag did fall off while I tried it on the first time. This is beautiful for a vintage-style wedding or as a fun and flirty reception dress. It is marked a size 10 but fits like a street-size 8.
